Fortune, Inc. was founded as a sail loft in Maine in 1946 by Richard Fortune, Jr. Over the years the company expanded and contracted with changing times – adding or discontinuing services as the market demanded.
Today, with its third generation of Fortunes at the helm the company is located in Cape Haze, FL. Our extended coverage area is throughout southwest Florida, but not limited to.

In our 2000 square foot facility, we have five industrial sewing machines with 600 square feet of work tables. Some of our specialized machines include: a long arm, a walking foot zig zag, a five stitch Serger equipped with safety stitch and cutters, as well as two walking foot straight stitch machines. All of our machines are controlled with electronic speed motors. We also have a bending machine which will bend stainless steel up to 1 ¼”.
Our equipment and skills allow us to duplicate any product we manufacture.
